Congratulations on your trial appointment as a Government Environmental Protection (GEP) officer!

Difficult decisions will need to be made, balancing environmental impact, public perception and operational costs. Doing too much or too little can both have negative consequences.  Can you successfully clean up oil spills that occur in the environment and keep your new job?

This is an educational game can be completed with no prior knowledge, although it may take more than one run through to determine the best responses depending on how well you do! For those who would like a basic overview of oil spill clean up techniques, this is a nice site to check out: https://www.marineinsight.com/environment/10-methods-for-oil-spill-cleanup-at-se...

Please note: This game seems to have a slow initial loading time on slower internet connections when played on Firefox for some reason. If running a slow internet connection and you have problems, I recommend trying a different browser such as Chrome where it seems to run without this issue.

*This short game was created for the 2019 subQjam on the theme of "Environment."*
